He whispers, “Look at that little guy…”His camera’s instantly in front of his face. He smiles, murmuring gentle words, capturing the attention of the squirrel.

Jasper’s always had a unique perspective, seeing things most people take for granted – or simply can’t see.

His gift is to share it with them, and it’s one of the many things I love about him.

The squirrel takes off the moment the camera clicks.

Lowering it, he turns to me with a look of awe in his eyes.

“Ed, did you see that?”

Wrapping my arms around him, I nod.

“I did, love.”
