I sit, waiting for him – poised. Ready.
I breathe steadily, trying to clear my mind. Still, thoughts of past sessions come to mind unbidden, and I have to work to remain still, to fight the urge to squirm, to touch.
It’s been weeks since he introduced me to this life, since he began to teach me. I’m a quick learner, he tells me.
He’s shown me so many things. Brought me to new heights I never dreamed possible.
He plays my body as skillfully as he does his guitar, leaving me longing for more.
The door opens.
“Hello, my pet.”

“Bring it,” I taunt him, knowing Emmett never backs down from a challenge.
The gleam in his eyes tells me he won’t be holding back, which suits me fine. We’ve been skirting around the issue for weeks now, and I’m beyond frustrated.
Not angry. Just… in need of a good release, and it appears this is the only way I’ll get one.
We spar for what feels like hours, neither of us giving way until he manages to sweep me off my feet.
He lands on top of me, his chest heaving. His eyes burn into mine. He rasps, “Jazz…”
“It figures the coffeepot would be the first thing you unpacked,” I chuckle.
He grins, raising one eyebrow. “Of course! Gonna need plenty of my favorite nectar to survive all this.”
He tilts his head to all the boxes piled everywhere.
My lips twitch as he pours us both coffee. “So, this is your favorite, huh? Damn, and here I thought…”
I let my words trail, knowing he’ll get what I’m not saying. Sure enough, he lightly nudges my arm, his voice huskier than before. “You know that that doesn’t count, mister.”
“Do I, now?”
Leaning in, he kisses me.
A/N: My dearest CaptainJezebel. I know you’re having a hard time of things, so me and the boys just wanted to try to cheer you up a bit. Enjoy!
Sighing, I stare out at the sea, letting the shouts and hollers of the guys wash over me. I know I should participate – it’s our last day here, after all – but I just… can’t. Because tomorrow, he’ll be gone, and knowing that leaves me feeling drained. Cold.
I shiver, closing my eyes.
I startle at the feel of Edward climbing into my lap, his arms around my neck.
He smiles. “Don’t be sad, Jay,” he murmurs.
“Can’t help it.”
He leans in. “I’m not going anywhere, baby.”
I blink in confusion. “Really?”
“Mhmm. Everything’s arranged. I’m staying.”
He kisses me.
„Babe, was ist los?“ Continue reading
“No! Please! No! Stop!” Rose alternately screamed and sobbed.
I came running into our bedroom – only it hadn’t really been ours since that day, about a month ago. Dropping to my knees next to her, I tried to call out to her, pleading with her, “Rosie, baby, I’m here… Rose, wake up, please… just wake up.”
Oh God… Rosie…
She was flailing, her arms swinging wildly as if to fend off an attacker – to fight him off of her. She continued to scream and sob, her legs kicking every which way under the covers and her head thrashing from side to side. Her eyes were shut tight as tears coursed freely down her cheeks. Bella’s heart was pounding in her chest, her hands clammy as she fumbled to fold the carefully crafted paper heart in half. “You can do this,” she muttered to herself. “Just walk over and pretend to stumble. It’s not like you don’t trip over your own two feet often enough for people to buy it.”
Glancing around the corner to make sure everyone was still talking, she took a deep breath. They were all there, and thank god he was standing with his back to her. She let her gaze wander to the jumble of bags between her and the group a little further away. Yes, she could see his bag, right in the middle, with others piled around it. At least, she thought it was his; there were two that looked very alike. Continue reading
My eyes fluttered shut as I inhaled deeply. Oh, so sweet… the fear makes it so… I licked my lips in anticipation, my eyelids opening slowly so I could survey my surroundings. I could hear them, hearts beating wildly, pumping precious liquid through their veins; soft whimpers, hushed words of comfort and reassurance that all would be well.
Oh, it will be…just not for you. Continue reading
“Bachelor of the year, my ass,” I grumbled as I opened the door to my apartment, closing it behind me with more force than strictly necessary. “You would think that it’d be possible to meet someone who was actually interested in getting to know me, and not just the balance of my checkbook.”
With a sigh, I kicked off of my shoes, dropping my keys in the small bowl on the table by the front door. I threw the magazine with yet another article about me next to it even as I loosened my tie. I walked to the kitchen, grabbing a beer from the fridge before heading to my room. I took a long swig from the bottle, then put it down as I contemplated whether to order a pizza or something, or simply skip dinner altogether. I most definitely wasn’t in the mood to go out, tonight of all nights. Fucking Valentine’s Day. Continue reading
